Dissertation title: The Immunologic and Epigenomic Regulation of HIV-1 PersistenceAuthored seven manuscripts including three first-author publications to peer-reviewed journals and presented at eight international conferences including three oral presentations. Implemented genomic methods to study HIV-1-chromatin interactions, utilized CRISPR activation and CRISPR inhibition systems to manipulate gene expression, and analyzed the impact of these modifications at the site of integration. Executed a single-cell approach to profile HIV-1, collected data from CD4+ T cells, analyzed resulting data using bioinformatic and machine learning techniques, and programmed novel methods of quantifying and tracking T cell clones. Mentored four postdoctoral, six undergraduate, two postgraduate, and two graduate lab members, resulting in four collaborative presentations, and two collaborative publications.

Collaborated with eight top-tier peer academic institutions to host the 2021 Ivy+ 3-Minute Thesis Competition resulting in 200+ attendees; coordinated communication and monthly meeting agendas with partner institutions; spearheaded marketing efforts and redesigned the event for a virtual format. Coordinated with three OCS staff members to plan and execute the 2022 Yale 3-Minute Thesis Competition resulting in 160+ students and alumni; hosted two informational sessions, coordinated communication to participants and attendees, and managed video submission and quality control. Hosted guest speakers across 5 events to foster the career development of 240+ graduate students and postdoctoral fellows; coordinated efforts with the Office of International Students and Scholars
