I enjoyed supporting the charity through my initial volunteering which then led to my paid supervisor role. Through my support the branch was the best performing Mind shop in the South-East region.Key Responsibilities: To direct and organise volunteers and community service workers in the most effective way possible.Key tasks: Plan and organise daily workload throughout the shop in a way that ensures efficient customer service and a profitable operation. Prepare and complete all shop administration including banking functions and cash handling.Opening the store by preparing the till and completing health and safety checks. Identifying the optimum price for new stock whilst reviewing old stock to see if they need to be rotated or replenished.Working as a team with volunteers as well as communicating efficiently with the store manager to achieve our weekly targets.
