As a journalist, worked as a reporter for the Delaware State News, Philadelphia Inquirer, Omaha World-Herald, and Hartford Courant, covering everything from small town councils to state government and politics. An award-winning editorial writer in Delaware, Florida and Pennsylvania. Worked as an editor at the North Jersey Herald & News in Passaic, N.J..
