Mechanical/Industrial Engineering Alumnus from Kettering University with over 5 years of experience in the automotive industry. I am currently an Application Engineer at SKF specializing in automotive powertrain applications.Previous Experience: I worked over 2 years at Munro & Associates as a Lean Design Consultant who primarily supported with both manufacturing consulting and competitive benchmarking. During my time at Munro, I worked with companies to reach full production, took qualitative measurements, and developed competitive analyses. Other tasks included improving manufacturing processes, analyzing manufacturing and piece cost, creating supplier-OEM connections, creating plant layouts, and more. Before Munro, I held a co-op (internship) position at Schaeffler Group USA in Troy, Michigan. During my time at Schaeffler, I rotated departments including Product R&D (VCT, OCV, Valvetrain), Application Engineering, Product Design, Project Management, and Return Parts Analysis. I devote myself to being a valuable employee in the companies I work for by improving workplace efficiency, generating new ideas, participating in company trainings, and going above and beyond.School:I graduated with honors at Kettering University (Flint, MI) as a double-major in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering and was a recipient of the Kettering University President's Medal. During my time at Kettering, I took on many leadership positions and involved myself in many extracurricular activities. I was the president of Alpha Pi Mu (Industrial Engineering Honors Society), Vice President of Order of Omega (Greek Honors Society), and a member of Pi Tau Sigma (Mechanical Engineering Honors Society), Tau Beta Pi (Engineering Honors Society), Kappa Mu Epsilon (Mathematical Honors Society), and the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers. I am also a proud member and previous Vice President of the Zeta Theta A chapter of the Sigma Chi fraternity. During my time at Kettering, I strove to improve the community around me and my university. I dedicated myself to over 200 hours of community service (over 170 being for the university).Passions:In my free time, I enjoy playing acoustic guitar, fishing, working out, traveling, and playing recreational sports.
