Solo general surgery practice 1963-1969. One year partnership with Bennett L. Crowder, MD, FACS. Joined by my brother, Robert E. Amis, MD, from March 1973 until October 1985 at which time I retired. Was requested to enter the Naval Medical Corps. Served 52 months and retired to Lexington, KY.
