I am a Data Scientist at Impact Score, specialising in the design and development of analytical tool pipelines, spanning from back-end engineering in Azure to sophisticated front-end reports in PowerBi. My work not only enhances sustainability but also fortifies marketing strategies in the supermarket sector.My projects include the development of a Greenwashing Detection Tool through natural language models, and image detection. This allows buisnesses to identify potentially misleading claims, and detect products at risk of greenwashing, as defined by the CMA.I have also been instrumental in creating powerful PowerBi-based financial analytics reports for high-profile clients like Virgin Money and Holland and Barrett, delivering insights that drive strategic business decisions. Additionally, my Nutritional Trends Analysis project utilises time-series analysis to scrutinise nutritional claims against actual contents based on NHS standards, enabling the analysis of integrity over time, both at a product and brand level.Further, I designed a PCA-Based Anomaly Detection System to identify sustainability outliers, highlighting 'Hero Products' for promotional opportunities and pinpointing 'Problem Products' for further improvements. I am also involved in developing tools that compare and contrast corporate impacts on people and the planet, using multi-dimensional metrics to guide stakeholders in responsible decision-making.Through my role, which is a mix of data scientist, engineer and analyst, I am committed to applying analytical rigor to promote environmental and social well-being, helping businesses make impactful and informed decisions.
