I worked at Safepac every summer whilst back at home from university. In this job I was working as part of a team and individually everyday. A majority of the job was safely packing peoples belongings. Other jobs involved dealing with customs checks, filling out paperwork and occasional groundskeeping work. Working here required a good work ethic, punctuality, flexability and reliability. This job allowed me to improve my personal communication skills and increase the efficiency that I worked at.

I worked at a local stables as a stablehand. This job involved cleaning to all stables in the morning and resetting the beds and refilling the waters. Furthermore I would go out into the fields where the horses roamed all day and clean up. Other jobs would be organising all the new supplies that came in and helping unload vans with these products. During my time at 6th form this job was done with a friend in the morning before school started. This meant that I had to work to a high standard and at a fast tempo.

I worked as part of a team to provide food and drinks to home and away supporters in the various tea bars on the outside of the stands before, during and after the game. This work taught me how to work fast whilst still being able to deal with money and safely handle goods.
