I am currently teaching in the IT department at Waltham Toll Bar Academy, within this role I am currently working towards my Qualified Teaching Status.

My management responsibilities included:• Analysis of sales and financial information to translate into a strategic plan for business growth.• Management of stock levels including liaising with suppliers.• Overseeing the running of EPOS and stock control systems, regulating profit and loss margins.• Designing and installing visual displays to increase consumer engagement. • Implementing promotional events resulting in achieving key business targets and KPI’s.• Developing overall consumer experiences to enhance business exposure and increase revenues.• Recruitment, training and continued development of team members.• Continually evolving positive team cohesion and promotion of a strong work environment.

A one-year Programme designed to introduce prospective management candidates to Marks and Spencer retail. As a participant I was exposed to a wide variety of business aspects and departments and was involved in the day to day running of the retail business. • Introduction to automatic stock replenishment systems.• Linking national advertising campaigns with localised product promotions.• Store performance analysis of product categories.• Department responsibility for team performance and section target achievements.
