Within my team I specialised in database management, where I uploaded the details and quantity of experiments refreshed on new growth media onto the company’s shared drive. I also took photos of all experiments at specific checkpoints and assessed their progress, noting any additional qualities.

I worked on both the electrical and customer service desks, which involved fast-paced work and a large variety of different tasks, ranging from taking refunds, phoning other stores and manufacturer helplines, sorting expensive electrical and clothing stock etc. It helped me improve my critical decision-making skills as I was the first person customers would speak to regarding any shopping concerns. It also helped my leadership skills, as I would often be the only person trained on the electrical desk.
