About Jack Deane

Before managing Jamie's Cookery School, I founded Cookable - a completely free online cooking school. Where all teaching is live & interactive, and where we learn together. It's still running to this day. Alongside Cookable, I created The Chef's Table, which runs immersive dining experiences, creating something special and memorable through food. Previously, I was Head Chef & Head Teacher of the Jamie Oliver Cookery School. I've managed, and created cookery schools. Delivered large-scale, live food experiences. Starred in a 8-part mini TV series. And led food education initiatives such as Cook with Jack, and Keep Cooking Daily - each of which a series with a live cook along everyday for 8 weeks

Cook With Jack: During the lockdown of Summer 2020, I worked with BiteBack2020 to create a cooking show for families! Using the £15 Free School Meal voucher, we budgeted 1 shopping list that delivered a whole weeks worth of lunches for the family. Everyday we’d cook up lunch in a live cook along! Keep Cooking Daily: During the harsh lockdown of January 2021, Jamie tasked me with creating and leading daily live shows to his audience. We ran a live cooking show every day at midday for 8 weeks! Inspiring people to cook more, whilst educating and having fun whilst we did it! Average of 50k viewers per episode.
