I am a 2024 graduate of Prairie Ridge High School. I am very excited to be going to Illinois Wesleyan University in the fall where I will major in business management and minor in coaching. I will also be a dedicated track athlete at the school. Finishing up my high school season of running my team and I finished 3rd in 2A at state for the 4x200m. I played a huge role in leadership on the team, especially in my junior and senior years. All my coach’s trusted me and valued me on the team. They said I wore many hats: Athlete, Coach, Manager. I have a desire to go into business after taking many business classes at Prairie Ridge and excelling at them. I won the MCC marketing challenge and the NIU sales competition in my sophomore year. Outside of school I am still very active. Every year my church, EFCCL, host VBS (Vacation Bible School) for kid’s kindergarten through 5th grade. Since 2021 I’ve been leading the games section. That includes coming up with games and modifying any to better fit the kids ages. Properly leading volunteers to serve the kids to the best of our ability. And insuring the kids have fun and our safe. Since 2020 I have participated in a summer mission trip to the inner city of New Orleans where we work with a organization called Urban Impact. We work in the day camp program where kids are taught Bible lessons and school lessons. There is also a work team that will go out into the community and clean out lots that are filled with gross and dangerous things. They make the neighborhoods that the kids live in much safer.
