A Covid lockdown life review, lead to looking for a more family friendly, closer to home, flexible position. A chance meeting, being at the right place at the right time lead to this special opportunity to try a new industry and start a new chapter at Gubbins Pulbrook Group Mitre10. They quickly recognised my management experience, skill set and could see the benefits of having a fresh set of eyes with in the business. They created a new role for me - Strategic Implementation Manager. It is an amazing opportunity to develop new skills and continue on my path of business management. It was a massive decision to dive into a new industry. The Club Industry will always be apart of my life and I am grateful for the opportunities and experiences over my 14 years. Including, achieving my ACCM status in March 2015, finishing 1st in the Leagues Club Australia and Aristocrat Gaming Management Development Course in 2013. The prize for finishing 1st was an opportunity to complete the Australian Club Managers Executive Program at the International Gaming Institute at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2014. Additionally, in 2013, I completed my Bachelor of Business in Club and Gaming Management (Distance Education) from the Southern Cross University. Furthermore, in 2012 I received an Asian Club Management Conference and Expo Bursary form the CMA.
