Dr. Jack Ditty has been married to his wife Juanita Underwood Ditty for 45 years and they have raised six children and have nine grandchildren. Dr. Ditty has been in private solo dermatology practice for 37 years in his hometown of Ashland, Kentucky. He is a member of the staffs of Kings Daughters Medical Center and Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital. He has focused his practice on skin cancer with Mohs Surgery as well as care for general medical dermatology conditions. He has been very active in serving the community with development of tennis camps, lessons, tournaments, soccer leagues, basketball leagues, art competitions and medical programs. He created the Ashland Regatta 10,000 which has continued to be conducted as the Summer Motion 10K each July 4th weekend. He has been teaching medical students and medical doctors for over twenty years. His medical television program "Your Health with Dr. Ditty" aired every week with over 800 interviews from 1996 to 2012. He created and produced many events including a professional tennis tournament for five years from 2004 to 2008 at the Ashland Tennis Center. The $50,000 USTA Pro Circuit Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital Tennis Championships brought 56 world class professional women tennis players to Ashland from over 26 foreign countries. He campaigned as a Republican for the Kentucky State Senate in 2009 and 2010. His goals have been to raise his family, care for his patients and contribute to the improvement of the community.
