While at Kennesaw State University, I worked with a wide variety of people and on a vast number of projects. In my final semester, I worked on an all-in-one 3D printer filament recycler. The group had made good progress throughout the semester and finished with about half of a prototype built. We were very happy with our progress as the machine had been completely designed from scratch and had zero outside funding. Through all of my projects at the university, I learned a number of valuable skills such as team leadership, coordinating with a group, dealing with stubborn or unresponsive group members, and maintaining deadlines.I have always had a passion for designing and building many different things. Naturally, I found that I have a fondness for working with CAD programs and designing parts, putting together assemblies, and running FEA on said parts and assemblies. Over the summer of 2022, I worked as an engineering intern for Wellons Inc. and was tasked with many different elements of computer-automated design. I worked with AutoCAD, making 2D drawings of systems, and Inventor, making models of water pumping systems and a thermal oil heating system. I want to continue working with CAD or, if possible, work with my hands. I am competent with many tools and like to get my hands dirty.After graduating from KSU, I moved to Steamboat Springs Colorado but am moving back to Georgia in March of 2024.
