I am a summa cum laude graduate from Slippery Rock University with a bachelor of science degree in Creative Writing and Film and Media Studies. I currently work at Kohl’s as an operations associate but am eagerly looking for true professional experience more relevant to my degree. I have two years of experience as a videographer intern where I developed several promotional videos for clients. I also served as Co-Editor-In-Chief for Slippery Rock’s cinema journal, “The Roxy” where I proofread submissions, offered feedback, created written and visual content, and contributed to developing the layout of the magazine. My college career I also consists of courses in professional writing, where I learned how to properly write corporate documents including but not limited to memos, grants, brochures, and extended definitions.My achievements include a 3.9 GPA, a published one on one interview with Pittsburgh filmmaker Chris Ivey, one short film which received a premier event, four promotional videos for Slippery Rock University’s English Department, and one recruitment video for Slippery Rock’s Volunteer Fire Department.I consider myself a dedicated and reliable individual with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities. I refuse to let tight deadlines or limited resources justify lackluster work and strive to deliver high quality results for every task.
