• Representing clients across a variety of employment and regulatory matters• Preparing and conducting regulatory and employments cases and appeals before the High Court, including Judicial Reviews• Drafting and negotiating agreements and contracts• Representing clients at Inquests and Public Inquiries (e.g: Muckamore Abbey Hospital Public Inquiry)• To provide support to Employment Relations staff on relevant and pressing employment and regulatory matters• Managing a large case load of 80+ cases whilst working collaboratively on large team projects• Work strategically with multi-disciplinary teams to identify trends to better the services we provide for member clients• Ensuring the delivery of cost-effective legal services to clients• Ensuring data protection legislation is adhered to at all times• Delivering training to RCN members and external stake holders• Analysing new legislation, regulations and policies and reporting to senior management (both legal and non-legal management)

• I worked as a paralegal from January to September 2016 when I then commenced a training contract under the pupillage of John Finucane• I work across both the criminal and civil departments after having quickly developed my own case load• During my pupillage I managed a case load of 100+ files• I had carriage of a number of employment matters where our firm was representing clients before the Employment Tribunal for unfair dismissal or discrimination. I have worked closely with SIPTU in a number of these matters• I have gained much experience in highly confidential and sensitive High Court matters including high profile contract disputes, defamation actions, injunctions and judicial reviews• Constantly working to tight time frames to not miss statute deadlines
