AgeWell Global LLC is a start -up company that launched its first pilot in 2014 in Cape Town, South Africa. Now active in Limerick, Ireland, as well as in Ft. Lauderdale, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh, AgeWell is a peer-based, health care innovation that promotes the health, social and emotional well-being of elderly adults living at home. Older adults, called AgeWells, are employed to work on a part-time basis as peer companions. Through them, we offer offer companionship and help social isolation; prevent avoidable hospital readmissions, emergency room visits and stays at long term care facilities; and keep elderly people living in their homes for as long as possible.

Assured the quality of AED’s day-to-day program operations and overall financial management and administration of five project divisions with 26 departments operating US and international programs. Annual survey of client satisfaction in 2010 showed that 96 percent were satisfied or very satisfied with the quality of AED’s work.
