Currently I function the genetics lab that tests hybridity, DNA fingerprinting, and sexing of various crop tissue and seed. I am responsible for extracting all samples, performing routine and custom PCR, and creating size fragment analysis data by operating a sequencer all according to client instructions and deadlines.

In this position I fielded group lessons of hand drumming and drum set with children from ages 5 to 14. In addition, I taught private lessons on drum set and snare drum to students ranging in age from 8 to 16. I communicated practice instructions to parents and guardians to ensure maximal progress between lessons each week.

I taught everything from 3rd grade math and spelling to SAT and ACT prep in groups of up to three students and tracked progress of each student according to standardized learning benchmarks outlined by pre-tests, workbook quizzes, and summative assessments.
