With my passion for solving problems based on data, I'd concentrated on Supply Chain Management and Data Analytics during my Full-Time MBA at Texas Christian University. And now, I'm looking for a Supply Chain/Data Analytics related job position.I've always enjoyed solving problems, especially mathematical ones. As a kid, I spent more time solving math problems than watching cartoons. And that problem-solving passion of mine led me to study physics at Korea University, through which I learned how the world and nature operate.By the end of my undergrad, I realized that I want to learn how the business world operates. So, upon graduation, I went to work for Dongah Elecomm, an electronics product (power supplies) designing and manufacturing company. Working in the technological industry, I could build experiences in project management, logistics (import/export), and customer service. With the marketing team in the U.S. branch and the engineering team in the headquarter located in South Korea, I worked as a project manager designing new power supplies for various industries including telecommunication, medical industry, smart home, signage, etc. Managing multiple projects, typically three or more at the same time, required time and effort but I could certainly grow to become a skilled project manager. In addition, exporting products to customers and importing defective products were typical tasks. I handled RMA and FMA issues with the quality assurance team so that I could resolve issues that customers were facing and make sure the same issue never repeats.During my MBA, I had an opportunity to intern at Alcon, a global medical company specialized in eye care. Being part of the marketing procurement team, I contributed to enhancing ongoing business relationships with existing suppliers and be connected with new suppliers. Conducting RFQs was definitely a valuable learning experience as I could work in between bidding suppliers and internal business stakeholders and find the most optimal supplier for the project. Also, designing the Alcon-Supplier Pulse Relationship survey and analyzing collected data resulted in forming relationship scorecards which could be utilized by internal business stakeholders when working with suppliers in the future.I'm looking forward to utilizing my experience and skills for SCM and Data Analytics.
