Work with customers on problem solving household maintenance/construction, gardening, and kitchen issues. Also work on organizing and cleaning the store workshop and backrooms.

Ran the grill stations during the lunch shift. Maintained a clean work space and quality cooking while keeping up with customer orders.

Worked under the head and sous chefs as the Garde manger and the line expo. As the Garde manger, I mainly dealt with the preparation of appetizers and desserts. As the line expo, I worked to plate food and send it out of the kitchen during service hours. Also spent time preparing the cuts of meat that we would smoke during non-service hours.

As communications intern, my time was spent collecting data on company social media and website posts, writing and posting articles to the website, and promoting the Eat Local For the Holidays campaign. Also worked in community outreach to find establishments that utilized fresh, local foods.
