Injoy is an activity centre based in Southampton that has indoor climbing, trampolining, soft play, a ninja course, cooking rooms, birthday parties, a full restaurant & interactive suite.Working at Injoy my responsibilities were too numerous to list in their entirety but included running shifts, opens/closes, banking, creating & managing staff rotas, conducting interviews, training all staff in each area of the site, event management & graphic design.While working at Injoy the pandemic happened. So we had to manage the closure, reopen & the new procedures that had to be put in place afterwards. During the pandemic we also changed website & booking system so I was a key member of the team managing that migration.

My role is to create and oversee the production of video and multimedia content for Ridown and their portfolio of clients. These include the creation of corporate and product profiles, idents, testimonials, client-facing media and training.In addition to undertaking projects directly, I liaise with external providers of video and film services in order to undertake larger projects.

Hedge End

While working for Clearvision, I was tasked with video production and publishing. I attended events as a videographer and created videos that advertised, summarized and were featured in these events. I also created many how-to videos that explained and publicized their products and services. I created static graphics and illustrations for email and social campaigns, merchandise and general marketing.

Fareham

From January 2013 to February 2016 I worked at Protected.co.uk, producing all their in-house videos, and videos for various partners. During my first few months I worked with the Marketing team to further the company’s brand and worked with them to set up their social media presence.I shot numerous live action videos, as well as working on many character based, text based, and stop motion animation. These projects allowed me to become well versed in Final Cut, Illustrator, Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve and some work in After Effects and Adobe Premier. I also became very proficient in online video publishing and website analytics. In addition, I participated in the employee council, acting as an ambassador for other employees, organising events and fundraising for various charities. In addition created posters for these events and other announcements. I also completed training as a Fire Warden.

My first in-house video position was working for Cobweb Solutions. Here, I created many videos to explain and advertise their products, and the company itself. These included interviews with senior members of the business, stop motion and text based animations. I was originally hired for a 3 month contract, however being happy with the work I had produced, they extended this contract with further projects.

Gosport

I carried out tasks as an assistant filmmaker, undertaking editing of videos, creating movie stills, and also creating wedding videos and editing event footage. I assisted in the filming of a re-branding of the Southern Co-operative, and the launch ceremony of a new lifeboat in the Isle of Wight, editing each into a short film.
