Worked several research projects:IoT Forensics - Current project, tasked with investigating artifacts from IoT devices such as the Facebook Portal and Amazon Alexa devices.Malware Analysis - tasked with creating and implementing 3 isolated labs in which to analyze malware. Personally responsible for building a Cuckoo automated malware box. The other lab machines were outfitted with the Security Onion distro, while the analysis VM's were running multiple versions of Windows with FLARE tools installed on them.Application Analysis - where me and a partner were given an Android phone with generated data on it. We were tasked with extracting artifacts from the Android phone, while complying with law enforcement standards such as writing subpoenas, search warrants, and maintaining a chain of custody. We used tools such as ADB/Fastboot and Cellebrite/UFED to extract the artifacts from the Android device for analyzing. Bluetooth Tracking - in this project, me and 3 teammates were tasked with using tools such as Blue Hydra, Ubertooth, and microcomputers to track Bluetooth devices around a building. We built our own custom Python scripts that are still in development to achieve these goals. Also worked on implementing Elasticsearch into our scripts for data transport and visualization.

Worked on a project where our group generated data on a Windows machine, then used various forensics tools to analyze the artifacts left behind by our data generation. We used tools such as EnCase, FTK, OSForensics, Magnet IEF, Autopsy, and various Linux toolsets.

During my internship, I had the privilege of working on actual forensic cases, and learned the process of a real forensic investigation by extremely skilled forensic investigators. I was also taught how to perform JTAG and ISP acquisitions at my time there. While I wasn't helping with cases or doing JTAG/ISP, I was teaching myself x86 assembly, vulnerability research/exploit writing, also attending a coworker led malware class that went on once a week.My internship at Sony has taught me much about how professional forensic investigators handle cases, and was taught many advanced techniques that I would not have been able to learn anywhere else.

Managed 12 other attendants, training and watching over them. Responsible for counting profitsat end of day. Responsible for calling emergency services in the event of a pool related injury.

Summer job where I had various responsibilities. These include, cleaning the facilities every morning and night, explaining various rules and policies to pool patrons, and perform cash and card transactions.
