My main focus is the development and implementation of effecient, wide-ranging internal processes to get our custom-formatted school materials to our print partners on-time and accurately. My knowledge and skills within InDesign, Photoshop and PDF-related applications, such as Acrobat and PitStop Pro/Server, provide a wide array of tools with which we can devise these processes.In addition to these responsibilities, I also deal with many of our external printers, focusing on those printing our full-color polyethylene book covers. Keeping them on-task, on-time and continually improving our mutual workflows are my main focus.

Focused mainly on desktop publishing roles including: hiring and training of 15+ seasonal interns; implementing processes for more-efficient gathering and processing of customer documents; analyzing and changing internal processes for getting print materials formatted, proofed and sent to print more quickly and accurately; working with our customer service department to fine-tune customer-facing web portals and communications to improve customer experiences.I also handle all datebook cover-related internal processes and communications with our largest domestic cover print vendor. This includes knowledge of 4-color printing applications, polyethylene printing, color matching, and maintaining vendor print schedules.
