As a Teaching Assistant for Beaver Works Summer Institute's Build a CubeSat Course, I worked alongside MIT Lincoln Laboratory Staff and MIT Professors to mentor 25 rising high school seniors in the basics of CubeSat mission design.I collaborated with fellow instructors to convert the existing in-person course to a virtual alternative. This involved testing hardware packages that were sent to each student, creating instructions and documents for lab activities, and designing an interactive virtual mission through which each student could remotely orbit and communicate with their final products.The course included lectures on Systems Engineering, Spacecraft Electronics, Communications, Power, Structures, CAD, Imaging, Software Design, Propulsion, ADCS, and more.
