I am currently employed at Octopus Residential Ltd. as a Lettings Administrator.I commenced this position on 28thApril 2014.Prior to this full time position, I was on placement at the same letting agent whilst undertaking a marketing apprenticeship.This was from 13thJune 2013 to 27thApril 2014.I am partly responsible for all the general administration duties within the office, including instructing tradesmen of the daily maintenance job lists; liaising with landlords regarding payments or household issues; allocating payments between tenant and landlord; dealing with landlord accounting issues; collating and checking bank records regarding rent receipts.A further responsibility is raising all maintenance invoices for the landlord.In addition to this I conduct viewings on properties to students, young professionals and corporate clients. At present there are approximately 150 properties to manage.Throughout my stay at the company I have assisted in training two new employees and been responsible for their day to day guidance of their role until they were able to work independently. Presently I am assisting in leading our annual student campaign.I have also taken on some responsibility for leading team meetings, setting up a marketing campaign for new landlords as well as new students and become more involved as being the first line of contact with the landlords on a day to day basis.
