Computational Biologist
Current- Develop, implement, and optimize bioinformatics pipelines for single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) and Assay for Transposase-Accessible Chromatin using sequencing (ATAC-seq).- Perform core and downstream analysis of scRNA-seq and ATAC-seq data, including quality control, normalization, clustering, differential expression analysis, and integration of datasets.- Utilize and adapt large language models (LLMs) for the classification and analysis of biomedical texts, enhancing data interpretation and knowledge extraction.- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design experiments, interpret results, and contribute to high-impact publications.- Stay abreast of latest developments in bioinformatics, computational biology, and related fields, continuously integrating novel methods and technologies into our research.- Provide expertise and support in bioinformatics to team members, contributing to the overall scientific goals of the organization.- Ensure rigorous documentation of methods and analyses, maintaining high standards of reproducibility and transparency.
