Below I'll try to explain why I am a game designer, and then I will include my skills and program experience.The main area of game design that I like to focus on is level design. Part of the reason level design has always fascinated me is because of metroidvanias. The way the levels and bosses are laid out paired with the flow of acquiring new abilities always ends up creating some of the best level design that I have ever seen. Some of my favorites in this subgenre are Metroid Dread and Hollow Knight. Maybe this was just an excuse to talk about metroidvanias... I'd love to work on one some day.
