Recruitment, training, continuing education, and management of the 300+ adult Naturalist volunteers at Audubon Zoo and Aquarium of the Americas.

I was primarily responsible for supporting the Purchasing Manager as an Excel and database specialist in order to improve the quality, consistency and meaningfulness of data for staff as well as for customers and partners.

I worked in Cameroon as an Education Volunteer, with a focus in Information and Communication Technology. I developed and presented a sustainable, traveling, practical seminar on information and communication technology skills development for Basic Education teachers in the Northwest Region of Cameroon attended by over 1000 teachers annually. I set up and maintained a computer training center for teachers in the office of the Regional Delegation of Basic Education, Northwest wherein I taught small group training sessions. I developed multimedia educational lessons for use by local NGOs and teachers. Additionally, I taught English literacy to small groups.

While employed full-time at Carnegie Mellon, I had the great privilege or being the Regional Programs Associate and then Finance Associate for the extraordinary people in the Office of Alumni Relations. I was the primary department purchaser and Oracle financial facilitator of over ten operational and twenty Regional Chapter budgets. I was responsible for Purchase Orders, expense reports and procurement card reconciliation for fifteen staff, office supply orders, international shipping, and monthly budget reconciliation and reporting. Additionally, I hired and managed workflow for student employees, answered phones, routed calls, utilized the Advance alumni database, staffed local alumni events and provided administrative support for staff as needed.

My responsibilities included taking registrations, answering phones, putting together mass mailings, staffing local alumni events, materials fabrication and providing logistical and administrative support as needed.
