Hello! I am a University of Massachusetts Amherst senior pursuing a Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major. Upon graduation, I aim to leverage the skills and knowledge gained from my education into a full-time role in the biomedical or biotechnological industries.My various lecture and lab courses, on-campus research, and internships have introduced me to many subfields within the natural life sciences. I am interested in roles that share my interests, including antimicrobial drug delivery systems and optimizing products/methods for enhanced efficiency and sustainability in a laboratory setting.Outside of academics, I have been heavily involved in residential life at UMass Amherst. I have held positions as a Minute Mover and Minute Mover Team Leader assisting students move into campus in the fall. Currently, I am a Resident Assistant in the northeast residential community cluster. These experiences have allowed me to grow my leadership and communication skills, and foster a positive sense of community within the campus community I serve. I am excited to translate these skills to work closely with a team of other scientists to develop a supportive and successful culture in the workplace.I love to be active in my free time - whether it be yoga, lifting weights, basketball, or even pickleball. I am always up for the challenge of trying new things! This includes trying different restaurants and looking for the best coffee or enchiladas.
