Assistant Manager
CurrentI started this job as a Christmas temp member of staff and gradually i have grown into a permanent member of staff and now an assistant manager at store level. My duties as a sales assistant included being a seller on the shop floor and on the tills. Processing deliveries and helping with day to day tasks. I also had to process traded in games and bring great customer service to customers whist working in a small sales team.As an assistant manager my duties include assisting and/or leading a sales time on a day to day basis, working on the tills and serving customers, greeting and helping customers on the shop floor and applying sales techniques to complete possible sale opportunities, shelf stacking, replenishing and arranging displays, applying promotions and taking preorders, testing technology such as mobile phones, tablets and games consoles, solving customer problems and faulty products and occasionally running shifts at other stores around the local area to assist the managers of these stores.
