Mandate to create the database structure for future Internet and Intranet development and to create templates for processing procedures using best practices.

Mandate to create Internet presence for sister company - Greenbax Enterprises Inc. a customer loyalty program. Extended to Piggly Wiggly and Newton Farms. Added TCP/IP connectivity to point-of-sales and stand-alone devices for Piggly Wiggly and partner merchant network to track sales and rewards on loyalty cards. Enhanced by adding targeted marketing to both devices and notification of the offers with a kiosk.

Managed as many as fifteen application programmers but continued to design and develop new systems myself in VB, COBOL, RPG, and Access. Also acted as project manager for several initiatives including the implementation of PeopleSoft Financials and in-store computing using SYS/36 and later AS/400 for DSD deliveries, inventory and pricing maintenance, Time and Attendance, and A/R. Most of the systems for the warehousing operation were written in-house, so I developed and managed many of the enhancements to them.
