With extensive experience in the oil & gas sector my role includes bringing in new customers from this sector, implementing its marketing plan and raising the profile of the company. Further work includes preparing PQQ and tender submissions.

Roles have also included the management of European funded projects for the benefit of its membership, all Training & Development activities, the co-ordination of a Renewable Energies Club and chairmanship of a regional Training Providers’ group.

Established a Training School that specialised in offshore and sub-sea related courses including ROV pilot/technician training and Pro-Engineer CAD training.Worked at all levels within the organisation including the delivery of in-house training, developing and appraisal system, supervising on- site, underwater trials.

Responsible for all aspects of training and development within the company for Managerial, technical, IT and craft level employees. Main duties involved identifying training needs, programming, planning and implementing a wide range of training in support of major culture change within a large traditional fabrication yard.Designed and delivered training courses to groups of supervisors and craftsmen including; Instructional Techniques, Communications Skills and Presentation Skills.Recruited and developed new supervisors for a range of projects across the company. Developed and wrote HR Policies and Procedures.
