This position ensures state land records are accurately maintained and assists in the preparation of land tenure related projects.Role ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Management• Provide support and guidance to team members in the day-to-day service delivery of state land administration.• Provide one-to-one training to members of the team.Strategic Advice• Provide verbal and written advice to clients and stakeholders on land administration matters in line with legislative, policy and procedural requirements.• Draft briefing notes and memos on behalf of the Assistant Manager.Relationship Management• Operate as a key point of contact for external clients and general enquiries relating to state land administration.• Attend meetings with external parties in a support category.Administrative• Respond to telephone, written and email enquiries relating to state land administration and where required, direct to the appropriate officer for action.• Work with databases to input and extract data and maintain accurate records.• Undertake the preparation of documents to effect land tenure amendments.• Conduct research into Crown land-related matters and formulates recommendations.• Provide general support to the team.• Undertake other duties as directed.
