I am currently continuing my High Performance Manager Program in the Retail Communications team. My role includes:Cascading communications from Retail Department to shop colleagues via email and SharePoint.Managing stakeholder relationships across retail including, Retail Operations, Human Resources, Loss Prevention, Compliance, Strategy & Planning, Project Management, Gaming and Analytics.Measuring and reporting on shop colleague engagement.Working independently to deliver comms quickly and accurately, prioritising tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.

The first six months of the High Performance Manager Program was spent with the Employee Relations Team. In this role I was responsible for:Conducting investigations and disciplinaries with retail employees in line with company policies and procedures for misconduct. Created investigations summaries, delivered outcomes, sent our outcome letters, responsible for note taking on investigations across all of the UK and Ireland. Worked closely with District Managers, HR business partners and loss prevention. During my time in the department I undertook and chaired 75 investigations, and 35 disciplinaries.

Beginning as a Customer Service Team Leader and Assistant Manager, I took on the Shop Manager role at Hulme during a difficult time with Covid restrictions in place, and having to deal with various staffing challenges. During this time I increased business levels, and much improved the shop environment. I moved to Rusholme in June 2022, again growing the business to become one of the busiest shops in the district.- Shop turnover nearly doubled in the two years from 2021- Achievement of financial targets, resulting in significant improvement of the shop on the leader board- Built a successful team, recruiting and training new starters, which enabled the shop to operate efficiently.- Set the standard for a great customer service experience, which has resulted in increasing the number of regular customers over a two year period.- The shop has been upgraded twice int he past two years- Worked with Senior Shop Manager and other managers to problem solve issues- Established a great working relationship with my District Manager- Became Cash Champion for the district and a mentor for the Taking the Reins course - Won Paddy Power Shop of the month for December 2022- The shop achieved top marks in the Service led SSBT incentive- 70% over shop plan for 2023
