We started our own design firm in Chattanooga, TN in 2002, focusing on high end residential design primarily in Knoxville, Nashville, Chattanooga, and Atlanta. In the summer of 2006, we moved the firm and family to Nashville, which by that time represented the majority of our work, and opened our office in Brentwood. We have maintain a small in-house staff, utilizing a network of subcontracters to assist with our design and drafting workload.

We left Atlanta and moved to Chattanooga in order to join Southern Land Company, creating the in-house residential design division. At that time, our primary responsibilities were focused on supporting the design activities of the SLC residential development division with Builder Services Programs and in-house builder design support.In the late 1990,s, our development and design activities turned focus to the Nashville, with the creation of two communities, Carronbridge in Cool Springs and Laurelbrooke in Franklin/Bellevue. Both Communities were very successful and set new benchmarks in the residential market for land planning and architectural design criteria. These communities were followed by the conceptual planning, and eventual development, of our first Traditional Neighborhood Development (TND), Westhaven, west of downtown Franklin. The design team for this project included such notable land planners as Andres Duany and Elizabeth Plater-Zyberk and allowed for detailed exposure the the TND design concepts present in Seaside, Celebration, and Kentlands, to name a few. Shortly after the design approval by the city of Franklin, the company moved it's corporate offices to Nashville and I elected to leave the company and start my own firm in Chattanooga.
