I am currently studying my MSc at Swansea University in Investment management

For the last year I have been the Treasurer for Swansea University Rugby Club. This is an unpaid and voluntary position within the society. This role has included financial management and budget monitoring as my duty is to plan the budget for the year, which includes all training costs, kit costs and the preparation of unforeseen costs. I am also in charge of all invoicing from the club. With this job I have also picked up other tasks that come from outside my job description such as planning events, managing kit and ordering external leisurewear for the team. I also sit in and give regular financial and club performance updates to the rugby board once a month.

My last 3 years of study I have been studying Economics and Finance. I have most enjoyed my asset management and investment banking modules as well as my study of banking theory and Macroeconomics.

Working with Active Ways I coach after school kids sports clubs, often having to adapt to different circumstances at each school and different types of children. One of the biggest challenges is choosing an activity that can apply to a range of different personalities all at the same time. I also undergo holiday and football camps during holiday times where I am in charge of a far larger group for far longer.
