Developed a medical dictation system using Microsoft DirectX and Windows Media Encode, to reduce the file size for transmission over the internet. Created a custom debugging and error logging application, which used TCP/IP to send error messages to a central monitor.

Used the Digital Persona fingerprint recognition software development kit and scanner, along with VB.NET Remoting and Com Interop. Developed a client-side COM component which uses the Digital Persona SDK to invoke the Digital Persona Fingerprint scanner attached to the client. The client invokes business components running on a remote server, which connects to the backend data store to validate the captured template against the user’s previously registered templates.Created custom Asymmetric and Symmetric encryption components using which encrypt the data during the marshaling process and then decrypted on the other side to prevent tampering with template data.
