As a host, I greet customers for our rooftop bar El Techo, and seat people downstairs in Condessa. I work to cultivate meaningful relationships with guests to give them the best experience entering and leaving our establishment.

Throughout my time at Stantec, I primarily helped bring Norristown State Hospital from a detailed design phase to a construction design phase. This involved drafting HVAC ducts from shafts stretching the height of the building, to the diffusers in each room. Furthermore, I coordinated ductwork amongst other engineering disciplines (structural, piping, electrical) to ensure the project was buildable. As I gained experience, I was given the lead to design an exhaust system to evacuate fumes from a vehicle sally port in the basement, where I drafted ductwork and sized two exhaust fans. I also performed several smaller tasks such as calculating pipe expansion lengths, duct pressure drop calcs, drawing airflow diagrams, and replicating existing conditions.

Performed load calcs, clash detection, and drafted ductwork and piping. Compared contractor submittals with our own plans to spot differences in quantity, code requirements, and type of products quoted. Coordinated with structural, electrical, process, plumbing, fire protection, and architectural disciplines to resolve conflicts without sacrificing building function.

Produced quotes for ductless, ducted, VRF, and heat pump HVAC systems. Created and maintained strong customer relationships while addressing any concerns they had. Developed a thorough understanding of mechanical drawings and floor plans, vapor-compression refrigeration cycles, and ASHRAE standards.Learned and adapted to using unfamiliar software(Ecat, Vroom, and Quote Pro).
