Project Engineer involved with enabling and delivering grid edge flexibility in trials with distributed energy resources such as Solar PV, commercial and domestic batteries, heat pumps and run-of-the-river hydros. I was responsible for project managing, evaluating the trials and disseminating technical, commercial and social learning via public reports and presentations. Involved in the development of Smart Local Energy Systems. Part of a team with the aim to turn the energy system on its head through innovative community energy schemes. I managed a Smart and Fair Neighbourhood and have been influential in dissemination of learning coming from the six Smart projects which includes public reports, presentations and blogs. Involved in the management and development of digital technologies such as "Peoples Power Station 2.0" which is designed to enable DER to deliver flexibility and automate their participation in DSO flexibility markets. I am involved in the development of a new service called Offsetting which is a grid edge active network management service. All of the above was as a partner in Project LEO - One of the most ambitious, wide-ranging, innovative flexible energy trials ever conducted in the UK. www.project-leo.co.uk
