This role requires me to ensure that training is delivered and meets all the needs of the delegates. This includes talking to suppliers about courses such as NEBOSH, IOSH and risk assessment qualifications. Organising training for Airside Operations ensuring that the Operations team, the transport team and the management team receive the correct training they require to carry out their job role. I lead a team of full time trainers who carry out; recurrent Operations and Transport training, new starter training and airside driver training.

I attend incidents as a Crew Manager, and take control of a crew at level one incidents.I make decisions based on the situation and information gathered on the scene. I have completed numerous courses, including being Immediate Emergency Care trained, and have an EFAD qualification. I have organised numerous visits to pre-schools and other community events. I also run the Fire Station social media account and was one of the first three stations to trial this project. I have organised and run the Fire Station open days for the last few years and they have grown each year. Along with carrying out numerous home fire safety visits and offering fire safety advice.I undertake mentoring for new starters that come to the station to ensure that they are prepared for their initial training course and that they maintain standards through their development.
