This role has several main aspects including monitoring the pool environment to maintain the safety of both staff and learn to swim students and their families, communicating with parents to resolve problems and work with the swimming instructors to monitor the progress of students and assist in resolving issues to optimise the student learning experience.

Working with student to improve their swimming ability and water survival skills, I instruct a broad range of levels of swim students from infants up to preparation for competitive swimming, focusing on the educational needs of each swimmer and what is required to progress their abilities. I enjoy working with each student to unlock their potential in becoming stronger and more confident in the water.
