After serving 2 years plus in the US Navy aboard the fast attack Submarine USS Spadefish SSN 668, I have been in the Lumber and Flooring industry for a total of 36 years, managing Lumber yards from Brinnon, Washington to Shelton Wa, Montesano Wa, Kawaihae Hawaii and finally 13 years at Bayview Building Materials in Elma Washington. At Bayview I worked for R.A. Bush Inc, DBA Bayview Building Materials serving as Corporate Vice President and Contractor Sales and Sales Manager. In that capacity I was able to service Lumber needs to Contractors in Hawaii, Alaska, Oregon, Montana, and Idaho, along with local Contractors in the Grays Harbor area. Following 13 years of working in this capacity at Bayview, My wife and I bought into a flooring store in Centralia with our oldest son Jason and his wife Debbie. We bought the inventory from Jason's in-laws.In 2006 Stacy and I bought out Jason and Debbie and then after the flood of 2007 and the economic collapse during that time we closed the business December 31st 2009. After leaving the military and getting Married my wife Stacy and I have served in various congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses in Port Townsend, Aberdeen and Rochester Washington with a brief stop over for one year in Kamuela Hawaii.
