Summer Position-Working in two teams simultaneously to deliver British Council accreditedclasses as well as a wide range of sporting and creative actvities, includingvarious large scale excursions, for 10-17 year olds from all over Europe.-Led activities as varied as cricket, creative writing, water sports and map design.-I was pivotal in creating a warm summer atmosphere in a prestigious school.

-Teaching a wide range of age groups and skill levels, from children toteenagers and adults.-Planning lessons in accordance with the school's own methodolgy, employinga range of technology, multimedia and realia.-Preparing students for FCE and CAE exams.

-Taking care of children from the ages of 2-4 years old.-Leading short English classes through games, songs and play.-Encouraging students to participate in extra activities.

Teaching a wide range of age groups and skill levels.Planning lessons and preparing targeted behavioural strategies.Administering and correcting tests, then planning lessons in response.

I worked in various schools across Austria, delivering week long courses to a new school each week. Local teachers frequently humbled me by taking it upon themselves to express their satisfaction to my employers. And while constantly liaising with new staff and meeting new children certainly enhanced my confidence in the TEFL arena, the experience definitely made me excited to be in a permanent post.

This temporary job drastically bolstered my confidence in speaking directly and persuasively to complete strangers. A level of social interaction that is in some ways even more challenging than that of the classroom.
