During my internship as a Business Analyst Oracle NetSuite Intern at RSM, I was part of the Consulting department, specifically working in the Oracle NetSuite team. RSM was a leading global provider of audit, tax, and consulting services and aimed to understand the unique needs of its clients and help them succeed through innovative solutions. As an intern, my goals included collaborating with the implementation team to configure and customize NetSuite, conducting system and quality tests, and gaining an understanding of clients' business processes and requirements.During onboarding, RSM provided me with training on Oracle NetSuite, including sessions with experienced professionals and client meetings to observe real-life implementations. I learned the importance of effective communication, teamwork, and attention to detail, as well as the company culture focused on the 5 Cs: Caring, Curious, Collaborative, Courageous, and Critical thinkers.Challenges in the first few weeks included understanding NetSuite's features and customization capabilities and adapting to the fast-paced nature of project implementations. I overcame these challenges by seeking assistance from my mentor, engaging in self-study, and actively participating in client meetings. To shorten my learning curve in the future, I planned to seek feedback and guidance from mentors, stay updated on industry trends, and explore other areas within RSM through shadowing and networking.By the end of my internship, I had gained experience in collaborating with project teams, customizing NetSuite, conducting data migration, and contributing to internal processes. To demonstrate measurable results on my resume, I collected data on increased efficiency, improved user experience, successful system adoption, and enhanced client satisfaction. These achievements enhanced my resume and showcased my contributions during the internship.

This past semester, I had the privilege of enrolling in a global marketing research class that focused on the Southeast Asia region, with particular emphasis on Singapore and Malaysia. Throughout the duration of the class, I collaborated with a group of classmates on a consulting project for Far UV Technologies, a company based in Kansas City, Missouri. Our task involved conducting extensive research to complete country analyses, industry and market analyses, and developing marketing strategies and recommendations for the company in both Singapore and Malaysia. Engaging in this project not only allowed me to enhance my existing skills, but also provided me with opportunities to acquire new ones and overcome various obstacles and challenges.To add to the excitement, I had the incredible opportunity to travel to Malaysia and Singapore for a period of two weeks, immersing myself in the local cultures and gaining firsthand experience of what makes these two countries excellent for conducting business. During our time in Singapore, my group and I had the privilege of presenting our project to both the company and the US Embassy. Witnessing the countries we extensively researched was truly awe-inspiring. I will forever remain grateful for the opportunities presented by the Trulaske College of Business | University of Missouri, Trulaske Study Abroad, and Far UV Technologies. The knowledge, skills, and experiences gained from this class will hold a special place in my heart.

I was responsible for adjusting processes and procedures including automation allowing a Carmel Apple Manufacturing venture to increase its annual production by 30% (From 100K to 130K) to initiate a Kansas City Market Test and ultimately prepare for a systemwide rollout for Andy’s 100 plus units requiring a new facility and 5X production requirement for Fall 2023.Activities include:• Automated the packing portion of the process. • Redesigned the packaging process to eliminate unnecessary handling of Bags, Labels, and date stamping• Developed Cost Justification for acquiring Automated Tools vs Continued Manual processes• Developed Specifications for the Automated tools • Researched, Negotiated with Vendors, Selected and Implemented the Label Application and Label printing technologies (Software and Hardware)• Developed the Nutritional Labels with automated date stamping• Trained Staff on new Tools and Processes• Provide remote support for the Apple Production Team• Redesign Floor Layout of temporary Apple Production Facility• Researched approaches to cut down the two hours required to produce each batch of Carmel• Developed and completed a Proof of Concept for an approach where leftover caramel from each batch was formed into pucks with molds to be later melted down and re-used. Eliminates the requirement of hand stirring of the meltdown.• Participated in Cost Analysis and setting the price for the 2022 production window.

These prized yields found their way into the hands of local wineries and esteemed suppliers, a testament to the excellence that B2E represents.In the past year, my focus gradually shifted towards mentoring fellow beekeepers embarking on their own entrepreneurial journeys.
