I worked with Sieker on the SpreeWasser: N Project as an intern while I completed my MSc Thesis (Hydroinformatics and Water Management). My role in this project has been to monitor and assess the success of an experimental drainage control system.During this project, I have worked on:> Catchment modelling and delineation with GIS> Creating a water balance model in STORM.Pro> Data processing with Python and Excel> Data presentation and visualisation> Digitisation> Report and academic writing > System visualisation I have also had ample opportunity to continue to enhance my soft skills and gain experience working in a new environment and a new country. This has helped me not only build confidence in my communication skills and German language skills but also as a valuable experience working in the water industry, with a consultancy.

As an apprentice Precision Engineer (Plastic Injection Tool making) I completed a level 3 BTec in Engineering, multiple PEO certificates as well as an assortment of work place equipment competency certificates (powered trollies, gantry crane etc.) while working in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Regular duties included:CNC and Manual Milling, Manual Turning,Surface Grinding,Tool Strip-downs and cleaning, Machine and Tool maintenance,Adherence to all relevant Health and Safety Legislation.
