Currently managing and developing Tsawaak RV Resort & Campground located in Tofino BC, Canada. I have been working in the electrical industry for the past +6 years consistently. First, starting in agriculture doing renovation work is where I found my interest for electrical. Which lead to weekend work with an electrical company, and then started the search for an apprenticeship. I was lucky enough to find a great opportunity with Eclipse Automation as a 442A Apprentice. I completed 3.5 years of my apprenticeship working with them. I learned all the basics and more relating to electrical and how the trades work. Various new jobs such as Tesla, Polycon, Juul and others gave me the opportunity to excel at my natural leadership ability and drive to organize and execute a variety of different jobs/projects.I then began to search for an opportunity with 309A Construction and Maintenance work. I felt that this would open a multitude of doors for my future in the electrical trade. I began work at SunGrid Solutions in 2020, where I have been working on projects related to the renewables and energy sector (ie: Tesla, Honeywell Battery Storage systems, Mitsubishi...). Here, my skills and knowledge of underground, medium and high voltage electrical systems and maintenance have grown greatly. This has been full of new learning experiences and great opportunities to excel and learn about sectors of the trade which were not as familiar to me. I continue to learn, lead and expand my knowledge each day that I'm working.
