With over 20 years of experience in the defence, I am currently the United Kingdom Chief of the Defence Staff Assistant Liaison Officer to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the United States Department of Defense. In this role, I facilitate the strategic dialogue and coordination between the UK and the US on matters of national security, military operations, and defence policy. I leverage my skills in operational planning, military command, and strategic foresight to support the development and implementation of joint initiatives and partnerships. Previously, I was a Desk Officer at the UK Ministry of Defence, where I contributed to the planning and delivery of military operations.I hold a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from Durham University, a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Defence Studies from King's College London, and a Level 8 Certificate in Strategic Direction and Leadership from the Alliance Manchester Business School. I am passionate about advancing the defence and security interests of both the UK and the US, and learning from the diverse perspectives and experiences of my colleagues and counterparts. I aspire to further develop my expertise and competencies in the field of defence strategy and leadership, and to make a positive impact on the global security environment.
