Direct a broad 300 participant music and worship arts ministry of traditional and contemporary praise music consisting of graded choir program including children, youth and adult choirs, praise band, symphony orchestra, handbells, drama ministry and media ministry. Ovations Art series presents ten annual programs including concerts, dramas and plays, musicals and annual Pops program.

The Jack Lantz Big Band performs both traditional and up-to-date Big Band Swing music featuring music from the Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Duke Ellington, and Woody Herman bands among many others, as well as contemporary favorites of all styles ranging from swing standards and ballads, to Latin tunes of all styles, to rock and other contemporary rhythms, and to traditional and contemporary Gospel arrangements.The Jack Lantz Big Band has played throughout Southern California and Las Vegas for charity concerts and balls, civic festivals, a myriad of private parties, concerts, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and club functions. The band has backed the great names in jazz, including, most recently performing as the Dream Band behind Terry Gibbs, and Little Peggy March. Recently the band performed and recorded the Duke Ellington Concert of Sacred Music with the Southern California Choral Society, which started a renewal of interest in this work throughout southern California. It has also recorded annual albums in recent years. Annually the band performs for the Hollywood Charity Horse Show hosted by William Shatner.

As Board member, as well as CEO of the major subsidiary, ed the corporation in its ten year global expansion making Miyachi the top brand and product line for resistance and laser welding of microelectronics worldwide. Enabled an IPO in Japan not only to the 3rd level, but then to the 2nd and top levels of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

Directed graded choir program of over 250 participants from children through youth and adults, drama, handbells, brass music for worship and concert series. Presented a wide range of music and styles from classical to traditional to contemporary.

• Turned around the company from bankruptcy to the best financial performance in its 15 year history, and then tripled the size of the business and moving it into new, larger facilities.• Re-engineered operations, including the introduction of manufacturing controls, process and design standards, Total Quality, PC-based production and material control system and cost accounting. • Reduced employee turnover from 200% to 10% via better hiring practices and incentive systems.• Expanded the company into new markets, including international and space markets.

Full P&L responsibility for custom pressure sensitive label plant and profit center with annual sales over $17 million (largest industrial label plant in company) and 185 employees in multi-union environment. • Initiated profit optimization strategy, resulting in gross margin improvement of 10 points by focusing on the most profitable markets, pruning the poorly performing orders and customers, introducing new technologies, and improving production efficiencies and utilization.• Realigned marketing strategy and direct sales, resulting in revenue growth from $13 to $17 million in three years. • Implemented first automated Shop Floor Control and MRP system in the corporation, which reduced inventory by 30% and improved on time delivery to 95%.

As a member of a Three-star General Staff, exercised staff supervision of the two largest ammunition activities in the Pacific with $25 million of ammunition storage and 1,000 employees in Japan and Okinawa. Responsibilities included strategic planning, fiscal control, distribution, and quality surveillance and maintenance. • Initiated the first automated ammunition management system in Japan, which was adopted as the base line for the Army-wide Standard Army Ammunition System. • Coordinated post-Vietnam realignment and reduction of ammunition stockage in Okinawa-Japan, and initiated a facility consolidation and construction plan that was fulfilled over the next ten years. Initiated the first joint U.S.-Japan ammunition planning.

Directed 500 personnel (military, civilian and Japanese National) in 2,600 acre ammunition and guided missile storage and distribution, maintenance/renovation, inventory control and quality assurance surveillance. • Directed the largest off-shore airlift of ammunition to Vietnam in the history of the war. • Dug rusting guided missiles out of the mud, rebuilt them, and then sold them to the Japanese Self Defense Forces.
