The Community Assistant Supervisor is committed to providing a smooth-running 24-hour Service Desk which includes but is not limited to; monitoring the safety of the building, managing the key loan process, and logging/distributing packages, as well as staffing and supervising 18-25 student staff.The Community Assistant Supervisor will provide on-call emergency facilities and managementservices and support major management functions (i.e., Move-in, Move-out, Leasing, and Turn),participate in all staff meetings and training events, as well as provide administrative assistance tothe management team.

Students work alongside a professional staff memeber in the FIRE: Cloud Computing Stream to use Python to analyze cloud data. Students collaborate with peers to make conclusions about large datasets using different types of packages and AI algorithms. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to work as peer research mentors to guide first-year students into the research stream.
