Matisa tamper and renewal train engineer

 Provide infrastructure surveys for new installations. Responsible for 3000 telephony circuits, two telephones exchanges and 34 Network Equipment Rooms. 1st line fault solution and rectification on existing telephony and network infrastructure, cables and equipment.  Provide out of hours technical support to Army HQ and carry out maintenance checks as well as calibration on all equipment. Register accurate data within configuration records. Maintain and repair IPTV,VTC, LAN and WAN cabling (copper and fibre optic) infrastructure.  Supervise and manage all junior members in the section ensuring on the job training, support and remedial training is carried out regularly.  Carry out military duties.
